As a Mental Health Health & Wellness Advocate, it is important to use my platform to not only help to educate people about mental illness and those who live with these conditions, but it is just as important to focus on promoting positive mental health outcomes. There can be many reasons why at times in our lives we can experience bouts of depression and anxiety, you do not have to be diagnosed with a mental health condition to experience symptoms associated with these conditions. As we learn how to effectively support those people in our lives impacted by mental illness, I encourage us all to understand the importance of positive well-being.
