There’s no time like the holidays, and it’s often said that this is the most wonderful time of the year! Yet in the midst of Christmas decorating, gift shopping, and a calendar full of celebrations, it’s easy to overlook something that is vital to our mental health and wellness. Can you guess what that might be?

Alright, I’ll let you in on a little secret: gratitude has the power to turn gray skies blue when we choose to focus on our blessings.

Cultivating gratitude is a practice—one that invites us to shift our attention from what we lack to what is already meaningful in our lives.


Gratitude isn’t something that happens only when everything is going well. It’s a conscious choice to pause, look around, and recognize the countless blessings that often go unnoticed.
