The Red-K Reading Lounge is a traveling and interactive program that provides diverse stories with all cultures in mind. We travel to the different libraries, organizations, schools and more to bring the fun back in reading. Our storytellers are interesting, exciting and informative about the books they choose to read. We also provide snacks and free giveaways at the lounge and ensure that children walk away with a smile.
Locations change for every session.

This is one of our favorite books as children have to use their imagination with every page. It is a #1 New York Times bestseller. It's innovative and wildly funny.

This book is an inspiring story and is usually accompanied by a pottery workshop to describe how pottery is done and the techniques that character, Dave used in his work.
Horse meets girl from the Bramble and Maggie series by Jessie Haas
This was an exciting and interactive workshop in partnership with Sunray's Equine, as we read a fascinating story involving ponies.
A Perfect Day by G.J. Vittone
G.J. Vittone is a wonderful local author of children's books. We were honored with her presence as she read this title in person.
Farmer Will Allen and the growing table by Jacqueline Briggs Martin
This title was read during our Juneteenth celebration to honor and acknowledge African-Americans that made a difference in their community.
