Summer Music Series: Juma Sultan’s Aboriginal Music Society

The Athens Cultural Center is presenting a free summer music series taking place in Athens Riverfront Park and focusing on the diverse musical landscape of the greater Hudson Valley. The series will highlight local and regional artists, and collaborate with Hudson Valley community groups to provide artist Q & A and open sound checks to the youth of Ulster, Greene, and Columbia counties as an educational opportunity. This opportunity is free and open to all, parents please bring your kids if you think they would be interested!

This concert series is organized by Jacob Miller, director of the Athens Cultural Center, with funds provided by CREATE Council of the Arts and the New York State Council of the Arts, the FairGame Arts Grant, the Athens Community Foundation, the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation, and ACC members.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of The Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by CREATE Council on the Arts.
