Crafts of Many Cultures

During each class, you will do a different craft from around the world (from Italian marionettes to Brazilian tin-can vehicles). You will discuss the origins of the crafts and materials used to make them, so you can understand the meaning behind the project and its context. The idea is to explore different cultures in the setting of an art lesson, and tap into students’ creativity and global curiosity.
