At MyKingstonKids, every event we create starts with one goal: to spark joy and imagination in the hearts of children. Whether it’s the thrill of the Halloween Fest & Parade, the excitement of our Dance Party & Movie Night, or the wonder of exploring Imagine Park, these magical moments don’t happen by chance—they’re made with love, creativity, and community.

It Starts with a Dream

Every event begins with a conversation. Our team gathers to ask: What would make kids smile? What experience would be unforgettable? From there, ideas turn into themes—space adventures, carnival vibes, laser tag missions—and we build the day around creating something immersive and fun.

“We want our kids to feel like anything is possible,” says Frank, our Executive Director & one of the passionate minds behind MyKingstonKids. “Whether they’re dancing, building, painting, or just being silly, every detail is designed to make them feel seen and inspired.”

Behind the scenes, our events come together thanks to an incredible network of volunteers, parents, creatives, and local partners / sponsors who believe in what we do. From setting up inflatables and prepping snacks to leading dance-offs or organizing art stations—everyone plays a part.

We also work hard to keep our events free or low-cost, because we believe every child deserves access to play, creativity, and connection.

Kids at the Heart of It All

Some of the best ideas come straight from our young attendees. Listening to kids helps us grow and improve—and seeing their joy is the ultimate reward.
