Opened in 1971, the Rondout Neighborhood Center sits on the site of the former Liscomb's Opera House, which opened in 1894. The Rondout Neighborhood Center has served generations of Kingston's youth with exceptional programming.

The Downtown Rondout Waterfront district is renowned for its lively marinas, award-winning restaurants, eclectic shops, art galleries, and a charming waterside promenade. Kingston Point Beach is a picturesque destination for swimming, picnicking and boat-launching; nearby, the Kingston Point Dog Park is a favorite with area dog-lovers.

Created by the Urban Cultural Parks System in 1984, the West Strand Park offers various amenities for visitors while showcasing the beautiful Rondout Creek.
