Volunteer Fireman's Hall & Museum of Kingston

In 1980, seven volunteer fire companies as well as the Exempt Firemen’s Association of the City of Kingston joined forces to create a museum that would celebrate past volunteers and would ensure that the remaining volunteer companies would have a meeting hall for their use.

The following year they secured a lease from the City of Kingston for use of the Wiltwyck Fire Station on Fair Street and took the first steps toward creating the Volunteer Firemen’s Hall and Museum of Kingston.
